Jennie J. Kramer, MSW, LCSWDirector and FounderJennie Kramer is the Founder and Executive Director of Metro Behavioral Health Associates Eating Disorders Centers located in Scarsdale and in NYC. Metro offers comprehensive outpatient treatment for all forms of eating disorders along the spectrum. Ms. Kramer has served as the Director of the Renfrew Centers for Eating Disorders in both NY and NJ for 5 years and has been treating all forms of eating disorders for over a dozen years. Prior to entering this field, she also served as Chief Operating Officer for Dr. Robert Atkins and was a management consultant to the healthcare industry with a special emphasis on integrative medicine. Ms. Kramer received her training from Adelphi and Fordham Universities. She serves on the Board of The Westchester Group Psychotherapy Society and enjoys membership and affiliation with organizations including The National Eating Disorders Assoc. (NEDA), The Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), The Binge Eating Disorders Associations (BEDA), The American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), The Eating Disorders Coalition (EDC),The National Association of Social Work (NASW), New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS), The NY State Society for Clinical Social Work (NYSSCSW) and The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Jennie has also lectured and been interviewed in the media extensively and has been asked to write “Overcoming Binge Eating for Dummies” for the popular series, which is expected to publish in the Spring of 2013. |

Dr. Tara Brass, M.D.Psychiatric Advisor (Adolescent / Adult)Dr. Tara Brass graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed her Psychiatry residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center where she received extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She worked as a staff psychiatrist at The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders in New York and later became the Medical Director of Columbus Park Collaborative eating disorders center in NYC. Her specialties are in the areas of mood, anxiety and eating disorders. Erin Cohen, MSW, LCSW-RIndividual, Family and Group PsychotherapistErin Cohen specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and has clinical experience in individual, family and group therapy. She received her BSW from SUNY Stony Brook and her MSW from New York University’s Advanced Standing Program. Ms. Cohen worked and trained at Peninsula Counseling Center on Long Island, Staci Leavitt Mind & Body, Inc on Long Island, and The Renfrew Center of New York as a psychotherapist before establishing a private practice in NYC. Jacob Pine, LMSWIndividual, Family, Group Psychotherapist and Music TherapistJacob Pine specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, primarily utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive and solution focused therapies. Caren Sacks MA, ATR-BC, LCAT, ATCSCreative Arts TherapistCaren Sacks has provided clinical services in the mental health field for more than 25 years incorporating creative arts therapies for targeted, unique and effective therapies to treat a wide range of mood disorders and psychological issues. Ms. Sacks holds a Masters Degree in Expressive Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy, from Lesley College in Cambridge Ma. She has also completed a Certificate Program in the, “Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescent Program” from The New Hope Guild Center, currently NYIPT/The New York Institute for Psychotherapy Training. She is Board Certified, Registered, and a Certified Supervisor by the National governing boards of the Art Therapy Association. Caren is licensed in the state of NY as a Creative Arts Therapist.
